Over the next fifteen years, Israeli company Noble Energy will supply natural gas to two Jordanian companies. The contract is worth $500 million, and the deal could potentially be much larger.
In recent years, Israel has discovered two large natural gas fields, Tamar and Leviathan. Political instability in Egypt has resulted in multiple terrorist attacks on the gas pipeline to Jordan.
