Nachlaot is one of the oldest neighborhoods of Jerusalem outside the Old City walls. The first stone houses were built there in 1875.

With its narrow streets, hidden courtyards and multitudes of small synagogues, the neighborhood sits just on the edge of the famed Mahaneh Yehudah market and is one of Jerusalem’s most interesting places to visit!
