Israeli Mom’s Invention Enables Disabled Children to Walk

by Touchpoint Israel

When Jerusalem resident Debby Elnatan learned that her son’s cerebral palsy would mean a lifetime in a wheelchair, she was determined to find a way to help him walk and play like other children. After several attempts to find the right solution, she invented a harness and special shoes that allowed her to walk him easily. Her creation allowed her son Rotem to enjoy a happier childhood, and now she is sharing that creation with other families. More than 20 other families have already benefited from this device, and soon it will be mass-produced and available around the world. Watch the video above or learn more about Debby’s story here.
