High Speed from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem

by Touchpoint Israel

The commute between Israel’s two largest cities is about to be cut in half. This week, construction crews broke ground on a project that will provide high speed rail service from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem in only 28 minutes.

This is great news for regular commuters in Israel, but also makes life easier for the independent tourist. By 2017, you’ll be able to get on a train in Tel Aviv and get off right at the Western Wall plaza. And with service between the cities scheduled to run four times a day, you’ll never again have to worry about renting a car and getting stuck in traffic on your way back to the airport.
