Israeli Nanoscientists Target Cancer

Israeli pioneers in the field of nanoparticles have come up with a new method to target cancer cells in the human body. This new treatment uses biomarkers to deliver drugs directly to the unhealthy cancer cells without harming healthy tissue. The scientists behind the breakthrough, Rimona Margalit and Dan Peer, won last year’s Untold News Award in New York City for their research.
